Come and join us for our very own Christmas.

Maybe you’ll be working over the real Christmas. Maybe you’ll be spending it on your own. Maybe you’ll be doing the family Christmas because you feel you should, while secretly wishing you could spend it somewhere else.

Or maybe you just think one Christmas isn’t enough!

Whatever your reason, for one weekend in December we’re creating Gay Christmas: a small, cosy celebration with good food, new friends, Christmas music and time to relax.

You’ll stay at the beautiful Red Lion in Broadclyst, a 15th-century inn full of character, with exposed beams, cosy fireplaces and lovely rooms. It has superb guest reviews, and you can wake up to breakfast at the pub each morning.

We’ll spend our days at our stunning 14th-century farmhouse and Renew, where you can enjoy yoga, Pilates, our spa and plenty of space to switch off. They’re just a two-minute drive from the Red Lion, so everything is close together.

We’ll celebrate the weekend as our own Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Friday: Our Christmas Eve
Arrive, settle into your room at the Red Lion and meet the women you’ll be spending Christmas with. We’ll start with welcome drinks, a delicious dinner and a cosy first evening together.

Saturday: Our Christmas Day
Wake up to a stocking and a present under the tree, followed by a relaxed festive breakfast.

We’ll spend the day enjoying the farmhouse, Renew and the spa. There’ll be an optional Christmas class for anyone who fancies moving before the main event: a Christmas lunch with all the trimmings.

Think crackers, ridiculous hats, fizz, pudding, games, laughter and absolutely nowhere else you need to be.

Saturday evening: Christmas night by the fire
We’ll settle in for a relaxed supper, Christmas music, games, drinks and plenty of time to sit by the fire and get to know each other.

Join in as much or as little as you like. It’s your Christmas evening, after all.

Sunday: Our Boxing Day
No rushing out first thing. Enjoy a lazy breakfast, some fresh air, optional movement and more time to relax before we share lunch, a Boxing Day walk around the beautiful Devonshire countryside and say goodbye.

Our optional Sunday sleepover is for anyone who wants to stretch Gay Christmas out a little longer. Think leftovers and lovely picky food, pyjamas, a Christmas film, board games, wine and chatting by the fire. Then we’ll have one final breakfast together on Monday morning.

You’re very welcome to book on your own and choose a shared room. Private rooms are limited, so please message us about the accommodation you’d prefer.

Places are deliberately limited to 12 women so we can keep the weekend intimate, friendly and special.
